I’m not too familiar with blogging but have recently started reading yours and Esbee’s. Enjoy them both very much. Seems like you’re a Lewisvillian. Have you heard anything about break-ins/burglaries lately? A prowler trying to hide from the sheriff woke me up at 3:30 a.m. on 3/27. He was hiding behind my bushes at first then tried my front door to see if it was unlocked. A co-worker who lives in Arbor Run thought he saw someone in his yard at midnight that same night. Just wondering if you’ve heard anything? Thanks. Loved the commode story!
I’m really sorry I haven’t replied before now. Things have been a little crazy with spring break (a wonderful rainy week in Myrtle!) and with work so I’m just catching up with blog stuff.
I am a Lewisvillian, but I haven’t heard of any break ins around us. Last year some kids tried to steal a car out of my neighbor’s driveway but since the car owner, who’s a friend of my neighbor, and my neighbor were sitting on the front porch they quickly pursued them on foot. The kids panicked and bailed out of the car, ran down the street and then tried to steal another neighbor’s car. He came running out of his house in his boxers and smacked one of the kids with a bat (I think) and the kids took off again. They were never caught, but we haven’t seen or heard anything like that since then. I think word must have gotten around that there are some crazy folks in our neck of the woods!
