Esbee wrote of her sons' dentist appointment at the office of Doctors Merhoff and Slawinski. Then I noticed a comment that referred to the office as "Glamor Shots Dentistry" and that meant I just had to click through and check it out. When I clicked through to their site I immediately thought, "This Slawinski guy is the smartest dentist I've ever heard of. There's 18 people in that office and he's the only guy."
I guess that makes up for having to stick your fingers in the mouths of thousands of germ-infested kids.

He’s a noob, I think. There was a second female dds there for a while. Fits the bill, however (he’s a beaut himself).
My physician husband asked around and David Slawinski came highly recommended by our dentist and a fellow physician with kids. He didn’t rush the visit. After four previous dentists and horrible hold down sessions where our son refused to open his mouth for any dentist to look at his teeth as he cried and screamed, our new pediatric dentist in NC amazed us by getting our son to cooperate cheerfully with everything. He explained in a way a little one will listen to just what he wanted our son to do. He had some miniature pull back cars to make it seem like a fun car play visit. Our now almost 4 year old now asks when he will get to go back to the dentist and says he loves going to the dentist. This dentist and dad is great with kids. He has impressed one set of parents immensely. We left with one pleased happy kid, one relieved attorney mother, and one physician father feeling pleased he found this dentist he found he medically trusts. The hubs also looked so pleased that by finding us a great children’s dentist, he was driving home from the dentists, for once, with a no one upset, quite happy family.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you had a good experience – as an adult I still have hissy fits in the dentists chair so I know how important being comfortable is.
