Ernest Angley Still At It

When I was a kid and cable TV had yet to come to our house I used to scroll the six stations on our TV looking for something interesting to watch at odd hours.  Sometimes I came across a faith healing tele-preacher named Ernest Angley who was easily the most entertaining crackpot I’d ever seen.  I’d sit mesmerized, watching as people in 50s-era eyeglasses and polyester jumpsuits would come forward, one after another, to be healed.  The best were the ones who would get smacked on the forehead and then with knees locked fall backwards into the arms of Angley’s waiting assistants.  Even at 12 years old I couldn’t believe any sane person would fall for the act, but he was on week after week so obviously someone bought it. (Further evidence can be found in this article from 1980…in Penthouse?  Don’t worry the link goes to someone else’s archive.)

I figured Angley was either long dead or in jail but it ends up he’s in Ohio (surprised?) and is now exporting his faith healing to impoverished countries.  Oh, what a wonderful world we live in.

I can personally testify to the validity of one Ernest Angely. I carried my mother (stupid me) to a crusade in Alabama hoping for a cure for her cancer. This fraud spent a full hour collecting money to start while the sick waited. Then, one by one they went up on stage and were “pushed down” while Angely claimed they were healed. My mother died one year later. This man is a total fraud and should be prosecuted.

He does not push people down he gives them miricals and healings. If you guys think you can go to a dead church and blasphem and sin you will one day open up your eyes and burn in hell. I am a member of Ernest Angleys Grace Cathedral. I have had miricals and healings. If you wait to late you will be stuck in the rapture, hell, and the lake of fire. I would try to change my mind if I were you. Get salvation and get out of your dead churches. I have got a mirical and healing before when I was little by him and his church. We collect money for ties and offerings. You pay ties because the lord tells you to do so. And the offerings are for us to spread the gospel to the hole earth.

It’s so easy to criticize someone. At least Mr. Angley does humanitarian and mission work. Just because you critics have doctrinal differences, or you think he sounds eccentric or something. You say he’s “still at it”. What are YOU doing for God? What are YOU “still at”?

I wouldn’t mind all of this so much if there was something visible. When the Apostles or Jesus healed, it was obvious what happened. Clear miracles, always. Has anyone ever seen this man regrow a lost limb, raise someone from the dead, restore a shriveled hand, etc.? How often did Jesus fail when he healed someone? And how much money did any of the Apostles or Jesus collect when they healed? It is a shame that this man draws power and riches from other’s weaknesses. I am glad that God does not vest individuals with this power today–you can see what is done when it is fake. Shame on the entire organization for bilking individuals and providing false hope. Scary stuff!

Actually I have witnessed real miracles at Angley’s church. My father had been in a very bad car accident that left him crippled. He had almost died. When we took him to Grace Cathedral, Ernest Angley prayed for him in the name of Jesus and I saw my father instantly made normal. He got up off his hospital cot (he couldn’t even be brought in in a wheel chair) and he walked normally back and forth the church in front of everyone. I was totally stunned! He was not able to walk at all before that. His doctors later confirmed that the permenantly damaged parts of his body were healed. It doesn’t matter whether anyone believes me or not, because I know what I witnessed and will never forget it. And, Ernest Angley isn’t getting rich as some have wrongly accused him of. The local paper displayed his income and it was a low to middle class income and he still lives in the same house that he paid about $40,000 for. It’s small, but he doesn’t want a mansion like these other ministers. When he goes to other countries for services he always gives away his books and Bibles and never charges.
Also, Jesus did accept offerings. He and the disciples had to eat and travel. Remember the woman who spent a great amount on the oil to wash his feet. People complained about that too back then. If people want to give to Ernest Angley’s ministry because they see he’s using it to spread Christianity and humanitarian aid then let them. He supplies a lot of help to orphanages, prisons and churches throughout the world. Anyone who complains about Angley and money really doesn’t know all the work he’s doing around the world. He’s really one of the only ministers I trust with my money. I see where it is spent and know how the minister lives. Check into his life and ministry more before passing judgement. Read his autobiography if you want to really find out about him. It’s easy to lump him in with other televangelist out there who are living in luxury and living sinfully. But, once you really examine what his ministry is all about (and if you’re honest hearted) you’ll discover what I’ve discovered. He isn’t like Benny Hinn (who lives in a $8,000,000 mansion), or some of these other rich con-artists. Maybe those who criticize him are really just upset at the way he preaches. Even some so-called Christians don’t want to hear a minister say that you have to live a sinless life to make it into heaven. If the blood of Jesus that was spilled for our sins isn’t powerful enough to keep us free from sin as we continually yield to it, then why would Jesus have made such a sacrifice. He told the blind man that he healed “Go and sin no more.” Thank God there are still some preachers out there like Angley who are sincere and just preaching straight from the Bible.

Angleys is very dangerous place to visit. There as a girl killed in his buffet and several people beat up by some of his church members in his parking lot. All this can be confirmed by logging into Akron City Courts.
this man does not believe abortion is wrong, since Adam became man when God breathed live in him, then he teaches that a baby is not fully human until out of the womb and takes its first breath.
also, they do nothing for homeless, hunger, battered women, etc. But he has a good time getting people to give money by telling them they aren’t true servants of God by holding back “gods money”.

I WAS ONE OF THOSE WHO VENTURED UP TO HAVE ERNEST ANGLEY PRAY OVER ME FOR THE PURPOSE OF MINISTRY. BEFORE I WENT UP HE TOLD THE AUDIENCE THAT HE BARELY TOUCHED PEOPLE BUT THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST KNOCKED THEM DOWN. WELL, HE HIT ME SO HARD HE ALMOST GAVE ME A CONCUSSION. IT WAS NOT THE HOLY GHOST BUT A GREAT BIG SMACK/PUSH TO THE HEAD THAT KNOCKED ME FOR A LOOP. NEVERTHELESS I CONTINUED GOING TO GRACE CATHEDRAL FOR ALMOST A YEAR PAYING TITHES, ALWAYS PROMISED THAT MY INCOME WOULD INCREASE IF I WAS A FAITHFUL TITHER. WELL, ONE DAY I HAPPENED ACROSS A BIBLE VERSE THAT SAID TO TEST THE SPIRITS TO SEE IF THEY ARE OF GOD OR NOT. SO I DECIDED TO PUT ERNEST ANGLEY TO THE TEST. HE HAS A TELEVISION BROADCAST EVERY NIGHT (OR DID HAVE THEN) AND HE WOULD READ LETTERS AND PROPHESY GOD’S WORD FOR THOSE WHO WROTE IN. I WROTE A LETTER HE COULDN’T RESIST ANSWERING. IT WAS FROM MY POOR BATTERED WIFE WHO WANTED TO DIVORCE ME BUT WAS AFRAID THAT I WOULD WIN CUSTODY OF MY CHILD IF SHE DID. IF THE HOLY GHOST REALLY SPOKE TO ERNEST ANGLEY HE WOULD HAVE KNOWN THIS LETTER WAS WRITTEN BY THE BATTERED HUSBAND OF THIS EVIL WOMAN. WELL, ERNEST ANGLEY PROPHESIED OVER THIS LETTER THAT I WAS A TERRIBLE MAN AND THAT SHE SHOULD DIVORCE ME AND THAT SHE WOULD WIN CUSTODY OF OUR CHILD BECAUSE THE STATE OF OHIO HAS LAWS THAT FAVOR THE MOTHER. GUESS WHAT? MY ADULTEROUS, COMBATIVE WIFE FINALLY GOT AROUND TO DIVORCING ME. AND GUESS WHAT? SHE LOST CUSTODY, PAYS CHILD SUPPORT, RECEIVED NONE OF MY PENSION, AND SEE’S THE CHILD ONLY ON A LIMITED VISITATION SCHEDULE. SO MUCH FOR ERNEST ANGLEY SPEAKING THE WORD OF GOD. I ALSO SAW A POOR BLONDE GIRL IN A WHEEL CHAIR COME IN TO A “HEALING SERVICE”. ERNEST ANGLEY HEALED MANY THAT NIGHT OF HEADACHES, AND BACK PAIN, AND RESTORED THE SENSE OF SMELL TO SOME. ALL THINGS THAT CANNOT BE VERFIED OR SEEN BY THE AUDIENCE. WE JUST HAVE TO TAKE THE FANATICS WORD THAT IT HAPPENED. BUT HE DIDN’T TOUCH ONE CRIPPLED PERSON. THIS POOR BEAUTIFUL YOUNG GIRL WHEELED HERSELF AFTER HIM BUT HE KEPT TURNING HIS BACK ON HER IN FAVOR OF SOMEONE WHO HAD A HEADACHE. HE NEVER TURNED TOWARD HER. NEVER SLAPPED HER IN THE HEAD. NEVER SAID A WORD TO HER. THE GIRL WENT HOME DISAPPOINTED. ERNEST ANGLEY TOLD THE AUDIENCE BEFORE THEY LEFT THAT HE ONLY HEALS PEOPLE THAT GOD TELLS HIM TO HEAL. I GUESS THAT WAS HIS EXCUSE FOR NOT TURNING TOWARD THIS GIRL. I HOPE SHE DIDN’T BELIEVE HIM. I BELIEVE WITH MY WHOLE HEART THAT JESUS CAN AND DID HEAL MANY BLIND, DEAF, AND LAME PEOPLE. I BELIEVE JESUS CAN DO THIS THROUGH HIS SERVANTS. BUT IF JESUS EVER WORKED THROUGH ERNEST ANGLEY HE STOPPED A LONG TIME AGO. THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT ERNEST ANGLEY IS A FRAUD. I COULD TELL YOU MANY MORE STORIES. BUT SUFFICE IT TO SAY MR. ANGLEY IS A SHOWMAN AKIN TO THE SNAKE OIL SALESMEN. HE’S MADE A FORTUNE DOING IT. BUT MONEY IS NOT WHAT PREACHING THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST IS ABOUT.

Ernest Angley is a 24-karat fraud, just like some many other televangelists are being defrocked every day. I still remember that he once predicted the great rapture would occur in 1999. Well, nobody I know has vanished. Now we have Jack Van Impe saying the world will end on 12/12/2012. I’m taking wagers; anyone interested? Don’t worry, you’ll still be here to pay up..lol! Organized religion is nothing but a clip-joint run by smooth talking preachers who have the ability to brainwash their followers. It’s so funny that I read these juvenile, intellectually deprived remarks that Mr. Angley is “doing God’s work!” God created the universe and I doubt that he needs any mortal human beings to do any “work” for him. I was once an atheist, and we had a saying; “all religions are built on the cleverness of the few, and the fear of the many.” There’s a fool born every second, and there’s also a slickster born every second to prey on fools. The bible, that these televangelists have been using to encourage “tithing” for all these years has done nothing but make the givers poorer, and the receivers richer. While elderly, and naive people are sending these self-righteous con-artists their hard-earned money, people like Creflo Dollar, The Copelands, Joyce Meyer, Benny Hinn with that lavendar-colored hair that never moves, John Hagee, and a myriad of others are raking in millions. What’s even more appalling is that their followers get angry and defend them, instead of being infuriated that they’ve been clipped! They write books, produce video and audio tapes, and enjoy the profits by guise of “donations” and “love offerings” while not even having to pay taxes! Jesus walked everywhere he went; he didn’t sell tapes; he didn’t wear a rolex watch, nor drive a Rolls Royce, as Creflo Dollar and his wife! Not to mention a 26,000.00 toilet that one televangelist recently purchased. Brings a whole new meaning to the term “holy shit!” I say take these cons off the air, and let them get a real job, or at least make them pay taxes for crying out loud. If they really believe the bible is the inerrant word of God, then they should follow it’s commands. The bible says that we should do as our government says. Therefore, why don’t these televangelists submit their financial records to the government. I mean, if they have nothing to hide, why not?!

I too have been healed through Rev. Angley.
I will tell you my story. I drove hours to see and hear him I was a teenager, afraid, scared and going blind in my left eye from an accident.(Doctor’s had told me the eye had to be removed) He pointed me out in the audiance. You he said, Yes you, the one in the red shirt, your going blind in your left eye. Stand up and take your miracle, I hesatated, and he said stand up son and take your miracle, I did, and as soon as I stood up my eye immeditally cleared up! That was 32 years ago and my friends to this day I have 20/20 in that left eye.Rev Angely never slapped my head, pushed me or anything that day.I went back to Ohio, bit of a drive from Bloomington, In. a couple of years later to give my TESTIMONY . I remember like it was yesterday, he as he walked up to me I felt the power of the holy ghost .I told my story, He raised his hand and touched (not slapped) my forehead and I was slain by the holy spirit. I have been healed twice since then with back problems. I moved to florida 10 years ago and his program is not televised down here, really wish it was. GLORY BE TO GOD! AND THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO READ MY TESTIMONY

Am really confused with some of you guys comments. It there ever be an end time prophet in our time its Rev Angley. I’ve never ever seen god use people. But this one is for sure.. I am sure god has blinded you guys who speak against this ministry. You guys need to humble yourcelf before god. I’ve been blessed abundantly through this ministry since my teens. I’ve seen god heal people in my home through this ministry. I’ve been sponsoring the ministry for some 4 years now since i’ve started working and god had been good to me. If there ever be a ministry that uses every bit for the work of god this is the one. Open your hearts to god and let him reveal himself to you rather than judging without any reasoning.

Hey, dissenters, bad-mouthers, and all you other guys out there!!!!!
It looks like you would just like to see the truth, wouldn’t you?
What most of you are saying, is logical sounding. But it only makes sense to those who have not experienced a personal encounter with Jesus Christ. To you, your words make sense. To me, I would not DARE come to the conclusions you have reached. As the town heathen, thrown out of a number of churches, I decided to study the BIBLE in-depth for myself. It cost 10s of 1000s of lives and eons of time and trouble to make the BIBLE available in my native tongue. That book is powerful, and a final authority on every issue. Here is what I have found out.
Premise #1. JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE. Yes, he did die, but he didn’t stay that way.
Premise #2. JESUS CHRIST THE SAME ALL THE TIME. He did miracles then, and people ran their mouths about him, even to the point of saying he used Satanic powers. But Jesus did not use anything except GOD’s power, and that with God’s blessing.
Premise #3. ERNEST ANGLEY IS A SWEET, KINDLY OLD MAN. I’ve met him. Before that, I have read his autobiography. He NEVER claims to heal or cure anybody. Cure means that he administers medicine. He doesn’t. Mr. Angley himself declares all the time that HE HIMSELF IS NOT A HEALER. YOU KNOW WHAT HE DOES– HE STANDS FOR HOURS IN HIS SERVICES, AND TELLS PEOPLE WHAT JESUS CHRIST TELLS HIM TO SAY. He is truly concerned for everybody there. But he can only do just what I said– JESUS IS THE ONE DOING THE HEALING. Mr. Angley just has a special gift from God to be able to see and hear what’s going on in God’s spiritual domain. You can’t use your eyes and ears, or common sense to know these things. Most people who believe in all of this can’t actually see what Mr. Angley sees there. So God helps us out by having people like Mr. Angley speak what he sees and hears.
Premise #4. GRACE CATHEDRAL MEMBERS HAVE A GENUINE CARING FOR PEOPLE IN NEED, NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE. I have proven this time and time over. I call them on the phone. My friends and neighbors call them on the phone. You never get anything but compassion from these people. They are very, very busy with helping others. They do not have time to look for a “hook” that will make them rich and famous. AIDS is no big problem for GOD, our creator. So people are being healed? No surprise to me. Mr. Angley and his folks aren’t going to try to stop GOD. And I am sure they are not trying to make money out of those little collection plate offerings. People just want to offer something. He makes it possible for them to have a part in helping somebody else find their healing as well.
Premise #5. THIS WRITING IS NOT BIASED! I HAVE NOT RECEIVED HEALING MYSELF THROUGH THIS MINISTRY. I am still quite ill, matter of fact. I have, however, read the Bible, God’s words to us. I know that what Grace Cathedral’s Ministries do is right. I am far away, but I SUPPORT THEM FINANCIALLY ON A CONTINUOUS BASIS.
Premise #6. THE DANGER IF YOU KEEP SAYING THESE THINGS ON YOUR WEBPAGES AND POSTINGS… If you bad-mouth this group of people, and they really ARE sent by God, and you maybe just don’t understand, or have never had such an encounter with JESUS himself… You could be bad-mouthing ALMIGHTY GOD himself! I would not want to do that, friend. I pray for your safety, and that God’s judgement doesn’t come running after you to do you harm. Meanwhile, consider stopping this, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! RIGHT NOW!!!

I absolutely believe that Mr.Angley is a sincere servant of Jesus. That said,I believe he teaches some very wrong doctrines. He teaches that Christians can,and must, reach some sort of 100% sin free state in order to go to Heaven. This puts his followers back under the doctrine of salvation thruogh works rather than grace.Any Christian who thinks he or she has reached a sin free state is only deluding themselves.Sin is not just obvious things, like adultery, but also sins of the heart:lust, envy, covetousness, pride, self righteousness, racism, judging others, greed,to name a few.Sin is also everything that we should do but dont..every time we dont witness, give to the poor, reach out to the lonely..Can anyone truly believe that they live a life free from every sin,of every sort? It’s impossible,if you are honest about your life.Another wrong doctrine taught by Mr,Angley is that if you do not accept as authentic his claims of miracles, you have blasphemed the Holy Spirit. He says this puts you beyond forgiveness forever, even if you are a Christian!!!I have never seen a visible miracle while watching his show.I dont know if miracles are absolutely occurring there or not.I tend to believe that they sometimes do.But,WHY would Jesus condemn us,forever, for not believing something..when no visible proof is shown.I am the kind of person who requires proof in order to believe anything,I believe in Jesus because I found the proof in the way He fulfilled prophecies made hundred of years before. There’s too many charlatans about,to just accept claims of miracles without being given undeniable proof. This teaching of Angley caused me to suffer fear and mental torment for 3 years, fearing I had somehow committed it.These kinds of teachings can do much harm to sensitive or mentally ill listeners. One thing that I have heard for a long time, but have never been able to get anyone to answer is this-I heard that Mr.Angley teaches that abortion is not a sin,not murder. He supposedly says that life begins when a baby takes its first breath, not in the womb.Would someone out there from his church please tell me if this is true,or just a falsehood made up to make Mr.Angley look bad?If it is true, and you agree with him, then tell me why you do,please.I find it a very strange teaching from a Pentecostal minister.I have met Rev.Angley, and he comes off as a very nice man.I have enjoyed occasions when I visited his church, and he owns a wonderful restaurant next door to it.It is true that a young woman from his church was murdered in the kitchen of the Cathedral Buffet. She was stabbed to death by a man who was obsessed with her.He was also a member of the church. She did not want a romantic relationship with this man,and told him so.Angley told the man that he was not to speak to her,or bother her in any way(they both worked at the restaurant)Then one day, without warning, the man went berserk and stabbed the girl to death with a butcher knife!I have never been quite sure what to make of Mr.Angley,he,s a very unusual man.People seem to either love him or hate him, with not many falling in betweenI have known many people who have gone there to get a miracle, and left in exactly the same condition. But,on the other hand,a devout Christian lady,a co-worker of my husband, went there because she was going to lose her eyesight. She says that she was healed that night,She did not go blind. Was this a miracle? It could very well be,but you would really have to look into her before and after medical records, and see if her doctor could confirm it.If you get the chance,go to Grace Cathedral, and check it out for yourself.I say keep an open mind, with a healthy dose of skepticism. If something is true,it will stand up when put to the test.Mr,Angley is in his later 80’s,so dont wait too long to visit. It is an experience you wont soon forget.

I have studied this man’s life for years, Alease Davis, and I have found his ministry quite unusual when compared to other preachers around.
As you said, I agree that there are some teachings that are not in line with sound doctrine and one of that is “sinless living”.
If you can mail me using our prayer request column, I can help you clarify a lot of your doubts in the Word and about Reverend Angley.
Make no mistake, I love this man of God even though I do not fully agree with all that he teaches.

    Here’s the deal:
“You can never tell who God is gonna use, a princess or a baby, or maybe even you or me.”
Ernest Angley is ignorant of much of Christian doctrine. He isn’t a particularly bright guy overall. He has execrable taste in clothes and hairstyles and his voice is beyond annoying. He sometimes thwacks people in the head and thinks he’s given them some kind of healing.
    And yet…yet…
Folks have gone to his church and had miraculous healings take place. Many? No. All the ones he punches in the forehead? Not on your life. But a few.
The same thing is true of Benny Hinn. My mother has a friend who had MS. She’s in her fifties. The MS had progressed to the point she couldn’t walk ten feet without resting. She goes to a Benny Hinn “crusade.” Doesn’t stay the whole time; doesn’t “go up front.” Benny Hinn himself probably never sees her. But she starts to tingle in a funny way. Walks out, and finds she can make it all the way to the car. Gets progressively longer “range” over a few days. Sees the doctor; he can’t explain it. After a few months, she starts taking aerobics: Unthinkable since MS first started in her 20’s. It’s now been five years: No sign of MS returning. It’s gone.
It’s weird. Benny Hinn’s theology is stupider than Angley’s. And yet, for some reason, God says, “Okay, I’ll use this guy’s ministry to occasionally do some miracles.”
Why? I have no idea. The Old Testament says God spoke to Balaam through a donkey. Maybe God has a thing about using jackasses.
“But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, to show that this power is from God, and not from us.” — II Corinthians 4:7

One year ago when I was in India I was unable to walk due to back pain and planned to buy a walking stick. At that moment Ernerst Angley preaching on the television and said I am praying for the people suffering with back pains. stretcah hand to tv and look at the Lord and pray with me. I did it so. I was healed and the next morning started running to catch my bus. Now I am in Atlanta. The Lord Jesus blessed me with spiritual gift of healing and commanded to pray for the sick. a Paralysed got up from the wheel chair and walked when I prayed for him in the name of Jesus. God spoke to me to pray for HIV sick. If anyone want to receive healing just they have to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and expect miracle. Dont test God. Just trust in him to receive healing. Faith comes by hearing the word of the God. God will do miracles for those who believe in Him and to who expect from the God by trust in Him. Preachers are just like a post man to deliver the letter of healing to the sick sent by the God.If anyone needs healing from HIV tell him to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and please sent me an e-mail I will pray for Him/her to receive healing from the Lord. Jesus Christ is the son of the God. He is the same yesterday today and forever. If some preacher did mistake on your part please pray for him and forgive him. Is it true that Angley is OK with a woman having an abortion?I have never heard a Charismatic minister teach that. Are you sure it is not just a rumor made up to get Christians mad at Mr.Angley?

Is it really true that Angley teaches that abortion isn’t wrong? If so,I am shocked! He has very strong teachings against drinking, smoking, premarital sex, etc. How could he possibly be “pro choice?”Surely this must be some kind of rumor that someone started to make Angley look bad. This is just too horrible to be true.

Did he say this on his show?I have read some of his books, but come to think of it,abortion was never mentioned, even though he had teachings on just about anything else you can imagine. This really troubles me.His followers say “He’s not an anti-abortion “fanatic”.What is that supposed to mean..that those of us who don’t want to see babies murdered are all “fanatics?” Angley is pretty fanatical about people not drinking, smoking, etc, which is good,so why would it be fanatical to want to save babies from a brutal death? To the last gentleman who posted, where did you obtain your information on Angley’s pro choice beliefs? Was it in one of his publications, aired on his show,or what? The reason I ask,is because his followers deny that they have ever heard him teach this.I really want to know the truth, because a member of my family is a great believer in Angley, gives him much money, and I’m sure she would never do that if he is approving of the killing of the unborn.

Ernest Angley said that the baby does not start breathing until after it comes out of the womb. Which is based on the scripture that Adam became a living soul when God breath life into him after he was created. Ernest Angley said that you just treat them like a cancer, at his church on Dec 31 before they went over to his buffee to bring in the new year. I do not know the exact year that he said it, it was the first or second year that Bob Hoffman and Chris Macamer became preachers.

That is just so shocking,I’m left speechless…that is so sick for someone to say about an unborn baby.”A cancer?”This is just so hard to believe, how could any rational person believe such a thing?Thank you so much for answering my question,Eddie.

Anyone who thinks they are completely free from sin,is only decieving themselves.Read the words of Paul,in the Bible. You will see a man who struggled his whole Christian life, caught in an unending battle between the fleshly nature and the new spiritual nature. To say you are without sin,is a sin,in and of itself.Perhaps Angley actually believes that life starts at birth, not at conception. If that is the case, then he is not sinning when he teaches it(even though it is completely wrong.)He is acting according to his own conscience.I am praying that he comes to see how wrong this truly is.He is a good man who loves Jesus, but he isn’t perfect or always right. We do not have a right to judge him.We can say if one of his teachings is wrong(abortion)but we can not judge him a conman,a phony.an evil man…only God can judge the heart of any man.Did anyone else hear Angley teach the abortion doctrine that night? If he teaches this,he must actually believe it,because I think he has integrity.

I’m a skeptic at heart and have investigated many evangelists, ministers, priests as well as agnostics and atheists to find out what they believe, if they really live the way they profess and basically where they’re coming from (their thoughts). In studying Ernest Angley, I found a sincere person who truly wants to help his fellow human being. I investigated his finances and how well he pays his bills (some ministers are bad about paying their debts) and found he is one of the best in this regard. Furthermore, I studied what he preached, by reading his books, to find out if his teachings were in contrary to the Bible. I found no discrepancies between his teachings and what Jesus and the apostles taught. In fact, his books are filled with more Bible scriptures then the average Christian literature, which I found refreshing. Upon further investigation into so-called rumors from blogs and personal negative opinions found on the web, I found these people were either making actual libelous statements, lying or just plain ignorant to the truth about Angley. I also found many more positive experiences relayed by people about him. So, my wife and I went to one of his services seeking the truth in an honest and open minded way. My wife was suffering from a tumor at the base of her brain that was growing alarmingly fast and causing excruciating pain. Her doctors helped all they could, but could not do anymore for her without very dangerous surgery. We told no one about her condition including our own family. When we were sitting in Angley’s service, he pointed right at her and revealed her exact symptoms and even confirmed the existence of the tumor. He prayed for her in the name of Jesus and she received a miracle from God. He never asked for money and I even saw him refuse money when people would try to give him a free will offering in the prayer receiving line. He never claimed to have healed my wife or anyone, but simply stated that God was the healer and miracles can’t be bought with money. Later that evening, I reached my hand around to the back of my wife’s head to see if the growth was still there and was astonished when I couldn’t feel the protruding growth. Before she received this miracle, the growth was pushing out the back of her head. So, am I a skeptic anymore? No way! I do believe God can and does heal people who are open to Him and accept that He can use a human being to pray for the sick. I believe in medical science as well, but its capabilities are limited. We can turn to God for help, and if humbling myself to go to a minister (a true minister who lives right before God) for prayer is what it took to save the life of my wife, then so be it. I’m humbly grateful for God’s mercy toward me and for what He did for me and my wife through Reverend Ernest Angley’s prayer. I would not describe him as a ‘faith healer’, but simply one who is following after what the Bible says in regards to praying for the sick and God will raise them up. He has faith in God, that’s for sure. Maybe everyone doesn’t get healed for whatever reason, but I saw a miracle and my wife is still fine today thank God.

Many of these comments include the claim a miraculous healing has occurred to you or someone you know. If Angley is the “conduit” for God healing then why has he never appeared on the learning/discovery channel. Why have these “miracles” never been a topic for the world to see? For every tumor that “miraculously” dissapeared I want you to post the findings from the attending physician so we all can see proof of this scientific unexplained occurance. If not, then all of you please go back to you imaginary world and pretend to be sinless and the rest of us will lead the best life we can in the real world.
