You Know It’s Not Beer Bellies

A researcher at BYU has determined that Mormons in Utah weigh 4.6 pounds more on average than non-Mormons in Utah.  He posits that Mormons are compensating for all the things they can’t do, namely drinking alcohol and smoking.  I guess it just goes to show that we all have our vices.

    Good lord, no. Isn’t it obvious? You’ve got more than one wife at home cooking. You can’t eat more from one than another. You must keep the peace. Getting fat is inevitable.

    Ah, David you’re generalizing. I know many Mormons and they are all happily married to one woman, as any sane man would be.
    I’ve never understood the attraction of being married to more than one woman. Lord knows it’s hard enough to keep one happy (and vice versa).
    Adultery I get. I don’t condone it, but I get it.
