This nifty little tool is available from Herrington Catalog for a cool $14.95. It’s essentially a palm-sized adjustable wrench with no moving parts. In a true sign that I’m not the man that I once was I actually would consider this a great gift at Christmas. What happened to the old me who couldn’t drive a nail or care to learn how?
Thanks to bookofjoe for the tip.

That looks pretty cool for any nut that has the CLEARANCE required. But if the net were in a tight space, without at least about 1/2 clearance, it wouldn’t work. Not to mention the nuts that fit the middle of the tool, which would therefore require a clearance distance equal to the radius of the tool – what about 2 or 3 inches?
Yeah, I thought about that, but it occured to me that this is something that’s great to have as a supplement to a full tool kit. Kind of like those screwdriver kits that fit in your glove box.
I see myself using it for light, around-the-house projects like working on the kids bikes, putting together crappy furniture in the kids’ rooms, etc.
