Activity Day 28: After sleeping in three different hotels last week it was nice to sleep in my own bed Sunday night and get caught up around the house on Memorial Day yesterday. I was also able to go for a good, long walk from our house up through the Hanestown, Ardmore and Knollwood Manor neighborhoods. I decided to give some “active” khaki shorts I bought this spring a try to see how they might work when we go hiking in Utah in two weeks, and as you can see from the pics below it will probably be a good idea for me NOT to use them unless I’m comfortable with everyone thinking I’m incontinent.
Miles walked/run: 8.27 miles. Here’s the screenshot from my FitBit:
Miles remaining in challenge: 219.08. I’m still about 3.2 miles behind the pace I need to make my goal, but that means I made up about half of the deficit I built up last week.
