I'm going to be spending some quality time in Raleigh for the day job over the next couple of weeks. Anyone have recommendations for good places to eat while I'm there?

Lots of good places. If you’re downtown, there’s The Raleigh Times (beyond bar food) or Siti (Mediterranean) or The Big Easy (New Orleans) or Tir na Nog (Irish pub). For barbecue, Cooper’s or The Pit. Can’t beat Mecca (a local institution for 80 years). Many places on Glenwood Avenue downtown as well.
