Maybe they are getting the message. The reasons he was chosen are basically the reasons that I and many others including now Arlon Spector have left the party. For many years I have been feeling like a republican whose party abandoned him. The party is in crisis now and I expect a splinter group to emerge. The question will be who will inherit the party and who will break away. I am sorry to say that I expect it will be the nonsensical rhetoricians like Limbaugh and not more grounded sensible people like Jon McCain. They can invoke the memory of Ronald Reagan all they want, but if he were to see the party today, his only comment would be WTF?
Thanks. Tony’s a good guy. I can’t say the same about your Congresswoman.
