Given that we live in North Carolina and that we have a school system that once called off school due to a forecast of snow and stuck to it when the snow didn't appear, and that we have a forecast of 1-3 inches of snow, I'm predicting that we'll have a minimum of a two hour delay announced by the time the news airs at 11 tonight. If we see any precipitation before then I'm guessing we'll have a full-blown cancelation by 11.

Yes, of all of the days that I want to see some real snow here in the Triad, it would have to be on the day, I have to get up at 4am to take my parents to PTI to catch their 6am flight to Detroit so that they can return to Canada.
I was actually surprised that Guilford county actually closed today in face of that dusting of snow that I saw coming into work today. My word, Winston managed to survive on a 2 hour delay.
Brian, hope you made it to PTI okay. Roads around me aren’t too bad, but if you listen to the news we’re in the midst of black ice armageddon.
